The team not only won the school's second ACC title in Rychcik's first year, it returned to the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the title game against Tennessee in the NCAA Knoxville Regional. "When we came in they were very open to whatever we wanted to do, whatever we needed," Rychcik said. "They never fought us on anything we've done. They just said, 'We want to win.' "We told them we had the formula to win, Best Of The Rest 1. Alexis Perry, Track & Field — The rising senior won two second-team All-America honors, an ACC championship, two ACC silver medals and one conference bronze this year. During the indoor track season, Perry was an All-American in the long jump, an event she won in the league's indoor championships. She also finished third in the 60-meter hurdles at the ACC indoor meet. In outdoors, she was a second-team All-American in the 100-meter hurdles with the second-fastest time in school history (13:14). She finished second in both the long jump and 100-meter hurdles at the ACC Outdoor Championships. 2. Brittni Watkins, Gymnastics — Watkins qualified for the NCAA Championships in the all-around and earned second-team All-America status on the beam. The rising senior also won the title on the floor at the EAGL Championships and was first-team all-conference on the vault, bars, floor and all-around. 3. Riki Bonnema, Swimming — During her junior season, Bonnema won the ACC championship in the 50 freestyle and helped the 200 and 400 free and 200 medley relay teams also take first place. She earned All-America honors in all four events and set a school record in the 50 free. 4. Tyler Ross, Softball — The rising junior was named second-team All-ACC after batting .309 with 14 homers, and a team-leading and school single-season-record 55 RBI. She also tied for the most stolen bases on the Pack with nine. 5. Michaela Woodford, Gymnastics — Like her classmate Watkins, Woodford qualified for the NCAA Championships in the all-around. She was named the EAGL Team MVP at the conference championship and earned first-team All-EAGL honors on the beam and all-around. She notched second-team recognition on the floor. 6. Kenyetta Iyevbele, Track & Field — During the indoor track season, Iyevbele helped the distance medley relay team break a school record and finish sixth at the NCAA Championships to garner first-team All- America status. In outdoor track, she set a school record in the 800-meter run during her final year at NC State. 7. Nicole Chavis, Track & Field — During the indoor track season, Chavis set a school record in the weight throw and earned first-team All-America honors after finishing sixth in the event at the NCAA Champion - ships. 8. Miah Spencer, Basketball — Spencer had a breakout campaign during her sophomore season, leading the Pack in scoring (14.0 points per game), assists (3.2 per contest) and steals (60). She scored in double figures in 23 of her 33 starts and reached at least 20 points eight times. 9. Joanna Thompson, Cross County — In her final year running cross country, Thompson finished 32nd at the NCAA Championships to earn All-America honors and help the Pack finish 16th overall. She also scored a 10th-place finish at the ACC Championships. 10. Lindsay McGetrick, Golf — She capped her Wolfpack career by being one of 12 players named to the All-ACC squad. McGetrick led the Pack with four top-10 finishes and five top-20 placements.
