SEPTEMBER 2015 ■ 75 ■ FOOTBALL RECRUITING DEFENSIVE BACK HENRY MILLER Kissimmee (Fla.) Gateway High Miller has a lot of similarities to Becker. They share the same hometown, and both have a friendship with Nicholson. They are also bigger-than-average, three-star cornerbacks. Miller checks in at 6-3, 195 pounds. Miller made an unofficial visit to NC State in July as part of a three-school swing that also included trips to UNC and South Carolina. He has narrowed down his list to 10 schools: Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Mississippi State, NC State, North Carolina, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Rut- gers, West Virginia and Wisconsin. He hopes to trim down that list further before his high school season starts and antici- pates using all five official visits. Miller also has a friendship with Becker, and he acknowledged that the two have talked about playing together in college while downplaying that as a significant factor. WIDE RECEIVER DIONDRE OVERTON, Greensboro (N.C.) Page High NC State is hoping to add some size to its receiving corps, and Overton has that with his 6-5, 195-pound frame. Overton previously focused solely on basketball, where he averaged 14.6 points per game as a junior for Page, but has made a big splash in football after his playing his first varsity high school season last fall. Overton caught 62 passes for 1,187 yards and 11 touchdowns last fall, and NC State was one of the first schools to jump in on his recruitment. However, while the Pack made Overton's top five that was released in the summer, Clemson and Tennessee are the two frontrunners. The younger brother of ECU senior linebacker Montese Overton is rated as a four-star talent, the No. 7 prospect in North Carolina, the No. 26 senior wideout nationally and the No. 132 overall player in the 2016 class by Rivals.com. WIDE RECEIVER C.J. RILEY Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward High Few recruits were as thorough as Riley in July. He went on a barnstorming tour of colleges that started with his second visit to NC State. He had previously camped in Raleigh in June. After his trip to State, Riley saw (in al- phabetical order): Duke, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt and West Virginia. All of those programs had offered the 6-4, 190-pounder. Those visits resulted in Riley producing a top three of Duke, NC State and Nebraska. He Management Professionals, Inc.
