Father Ryan * As of Aug. 16 pect Fuller to take official visits to Uni- versity Park, South Bend and Colum- bus, but nothing is set in stone. He will likely use all five of his official visits, but it's unclear who the other two schools will be. Penn State appears to be in his top three and has a very good chance of landing a commitment. But Fuller's official visits will play a major role in his decision. DAMAR HAMLIN CB // 6-1 // 179 Pittsburgh Central Catholic OFFERS Auburn, Boston College, Clemson, Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Navy, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Pur- due, Stanford, Temple, UCLA, Vander- bilt, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Wisconsin QUOTABLE "Penn State was the /rst school to really come a1er me and recruit me. There's nothing you can't like about the facilities and the school. Everything is perfect from that aspect of it." OUTLOOK Since the spring, Hamlin hasn't been speaking with the media regularly, so it's been tough to get a read on him. In April, there were rumors that he had eliminated Penn State and was focused on Pitt and Ohio State, but he was on hand for the Lasch Bash barbe- cue and has made one other recent trip to University Park. He also put out a top 10 earlier this summer that included the Nittany Lions, along with Auburn, Clemson, Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Pitt, UCLA and Vir- ginia Tech. Hamlin said in early July that he plans to take o0cial visits to UCLA and Mia- mi, since it's di0cult to travel to those schools on his own. It's possible that Penn State won't receive an o0cial visit, but University Park is within driving distance, so there's a good chance he will attend either the Rutgers or Michigan game this fall. We believe Penn State has a good chance to crack his top /ve, but that's as far as we'll go at the moment.
