COMMITMENT PROFILE knew that coming in to the visit. "They told me that I really fit their playing style," Scott said. "They love my size at corner. They think I'm the prototype, NFL-build corner. They told me that I was 100 percent a cornerback, and they felt really excited about me commit- ting." With his recruit- m e n t b e h i n d h i m Scott can now focus on his senior season and nothing else. He's ready to attack the year with an en- thusiasm unknown to mankind and will not be distracted by anything to do with recruiting. "My recruitment is done," Scott said. "I am 100 percent committed to Michigan. I most definitely will be coming back for an official visit, but I won't be taking any visits anywhere else. I am loyal to Michigan. "I'm just focusing on the season now. We are very fo- cused on our oppo- nents this year and trying to win as many games as we can." The only thing left for Scott to figure out is what his future head coach will call him. Is Jim Harbaugh really going to ad- dress one of his play- ers as "Sir?" "We haven't really got that under control yet," Scott said with a laugh. "We haven't discussed it or anything. Maybe by the time I get on campus we will have that situated." — Brandon Brown FILM EVALUATION Strengths: Sir Patrick Scott is a willing and capable tackler despite weighing just 170 pounds. He can come up against the run or stop receivers for short gains after the catch. He also has good instincts and a quick break on the ball in coverage. His ball skills are good, but they look even better because he puts himself in the right place to make a play with his game intelligence. The same can be said for his athletic tools — they're adequate, but they don't need to be much better thanks to how smart he plays the game. Areas of Improvement: Scott is slightly undersized from a weight perspec‑ tive, but that's normal for high school players, particularly defensive backs who are often among the smallest on their team. He has good size but will need to fill out to compete physically in the Big Ten. Michigan Player Comparison: Troy Woolfolk (2007‑11) played some solid football for the Wolverines. Out of high school, he and Scott were nearly identi‑ cal size‑wise. Woolfolk was speedier than Scott, but both are billed as physical corners who can tackle with a high level of intelligence. — Analysis from TheWolverine.com Scott "They [U-M's coaches] told me that I really fit their playing style. They love my size at corner. They think I'm the prototype, NFL-build corner."
