PREP PROFILES Miami Senior High School wide receiver Keyshawn "Pie" Young is telling people that Michigan and Alabama lead the way in his re - cruitment, with the Maize and Blue edging out the Crimson Tide right now. During media day at his high school recently, he admitted that if he were forced to sign at this mo - ment his letter of intent would be on its way to Ann Arbor. The 5-11, 165-pounder is a natural athlete and put that on display dur- ing media day by doing some back- flips for the cameras. Young isn't quite ready for a commitment yet, but as of right now the Wolverines are obviously in great shape for him. A decision isn't expected from the three-star receiver until late fall and, as always, things could change in his recruitment. Young wants to officially visit Michigan for the Wolverines' game with Michigan State Oct. 17 and will certainly take an official visit to Alabama, as well. He has yet to finalize dates for either trip but should do so in short order. That leaves three slots for other schools to lock him in on official visits and programs such as Georgia, Tennes - see, LSU and Miami could also land visits from Young. "I'm going to take all five official visits," Young explained. "I'll visit Michigan and Alabama and then plug in some more teams. The other teams could be anybody. I just want to see which school makes me feel like I'm at home." Rivals.com Southeast recruiting analyst Rob Cassidy thinks that Michigan could potentially pluck another talented Floridian. "They're in his top two now and they've got a shot with him," Cas - sidy explained. "He's a nontra- ditional Miami recruit in a sense. Usually they transfer to power schools, but he's not doing that. He's very athletic and can do back handsprings and backflips after games and stuff. He's got a chance to be higher ranked than he is now because of his athleticism. Michi - gan could steal a good one if they get him." Young — who is listed as the No. 45 prospect in Florida and the No. 61 wide receiver nationally by Rivals.com — rushed for 629 yards and eight touchdowns while also hauling in 11 catches for 140 yards and five scores as a junior last year. — Brandon Brown Wolverines Lead For Sunshine State Pass Catcher ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ Miami Senior High School Miami Class: 2016 Position: Wide Receiver Ht.: 5-11 • Wt.: 165 Rivals.com Rankings: No. 45 player in Florida and No. 61 wide receiver in the nation Keyshawn Young
