Colin McAtee led the Wolverines in scor‑
ing last season with eight goals and 18
points, increasing his goal tally by seven
from 2013. Classmate T.J. VanSlooten is
back after missing all of 2014 with an in‑
jury and provides an offensive comple‑
ment to McAtee.
"Colin is a blue‑collar guy and com‑
petes for everything," Daley said. "He
gets on the end of set pieces, and he
scores goals in that fashion. We want to
play a better brand of offense and get
goals from many different players."
Athlete To Watch: Built like a line‑
backer at 6‑3, 220 pounds, sophomore
goalie Evan Louro went 3‑4‑1 in eight
starts splitting time in net a year ago.
He posted a 1.28 goals‑against average
and had two shutouts.
"He'll clearly be the No. 1, and he
probably should have been the No. 1
last year, but we wanted to introduce
him to college soccer," Daley said. "It's
more than just playing in a fall sport —
you have school three weeks after you
start playing, and that's an adjustment
period."
