The NBA GLENN ROBINSON III LANDS IN INDIANA Glenn Robinson III has been with a number of teams already since leav- ing Michigan after his sophomore year. His latest — the Indiana Pacers. Robinson joined the club after spend- ing part of the summer with the At- lanta Hawks, with whom he aver- aged 11.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in six NBA summer league games. "Can't wait to continue my journey in the NBA with the Indiana Pacers," he tweeted. "Couldn't be more ex- cited to play at home!! #OverlyDedi- cated" Robinson, a St. John, Ind., native, left U-M after his sophomore year and was selected 40th by Minnesota in the 2014 NBA Draft. Yahoo Sports reports he signed a three-year deal with the Pacers after stints with the Timberwolves and Philadelphia last year. He averaged just 2.1 points in 35 games as rookie. Robinson averaged 13.1 points and 4.4 rebounds as a sophomore at Michigan. Minnesota waived him during the season, while the 76ers made him a free agent when they de- clined to make him a qualifying offer. NBA NOTES • The Philadelphia 76ers' Nik Staus- kas will have a chance to help Canada qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics. The former Michigan standout shooting guard and Sacramento Kings' first- round pick was included on his na- tive country's 16-player training camp roster released in August for the FIBA Americas Championship. Canada's 16-player training camp ros- ter will be cut to a final 12-man roster for the FIBA Americas. The tournament, which will send its top two finishers to the 2016 Olympic Games, will be held in Mexico City from Aug. 31-Sept. 12. The NHL DYLAN LARKIN AMONG NHL'S TOP PROSPECTS The Detroit Red Wings have six players among the NHL's top 100 prospects, according to a list com- piled by ESPN.com, and former Wol- verine Dylan Larkin — Detroit's first- round pick (15th overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft — was ranked highest at No. 10. Larkin was ranked 99th a year ago before being named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year for Michigan and finishing the season with three goals and two assists in six playoff games for the Grand Rapids Griffins. He'll start this season in the AHL with Grand Rapids. "Larkin had a simply fantastic sea- son," ESPN.com's Corey Pronman wrote. "He was a dominant two-way player as a freshman at Michigan, one of the top players at the World Juniors, earned an invite to USA's World Championship team and played top-six minutes in the AHL
