by last year's defensive coordinator, Greg Mattison. 13. Wayne Lyons CB The fifth-year senior import from Stanford is expected to start at the cornerback opposite Lewis, although he'll have to earn it. Veteran corner Blake Countess opted to transfer after Lyons came on the scene, but there are still those battling for the job, and Lyons (128 tackles, three in- terceptions and three forced fumbles at Stanford) has to prove himself in camp. 14. Chris Wormley DL Wormley enters his redshirt junior campaign having broken through to start half of Michigan's 12 games in 2014. He posted 21 tackles, with three sacks among five tackles for loss, and should be ready to make an even stronger contribution amid an increasingly veteran defensive front. 15. De'Veon Smith RB Smith has proven Michigan's most durable tailback over the past two years, despite making only two starts. The junior rushed for 519 yards on 108 carries with six touchdowns last season, and he'll be competing hard for the starting job this fall. All of Michigan's backs will benefit from an offensive line that's growing up and getting Drevno's input. 16. Derrick Green RB Green might have gone for 1,000 yards a year ago, but a shoulder in- jury cost him half the season. The junior wound up with 471 yards on 82 attempts, and he also should fare better behind a now-veteran offen- sive line. 17. Ben Braden OL Braden made the move inside to left guard in spring football after starting all of 2014 at right tackle. He noted in the spring he doesn't care where he plays, and there's little doubt the redshirt junior will be a starter for the Wolverines up front in some spot. 18. Ryan Glasgow DL The other Glasgow brother dem- onstrated some serious toughness on the defensive line a year ago, and that's what Harbaugh appreciates. Glasgow posted 22 tackles, four tack- les for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, and figures to be strongly in the mix again as a red- shirt junior. 19. Erik Magnuson OL This classmate of Kalis has also experienced some ups and downs up front for Michigan, but has again put himself in position to be a major contributor. He has made 13 starts in three seasons, including five last year. Magnuson features the versatility to move around and did so during spring practice. The big man has played primarily left guard in his time with the Wolverines but moved out to right tackle in the spring, al- lowing last year 's right tackle, red- shirt sophomore Ben Braden, to see snaps at left guard. Where they'll wind up is yet to be determined, but Braden thinks
