OLYMPIC SPORTS Colin McAtee led the Wolverines in scor‑ ing last season with eight goals and 18 points, increasing his goal tally by seven from 2013. Classmate T.J. VanSlooten is back after missing all of 2014 with an in‑ jury and provides an offensive comple‑ ment to McAtee. "Colin is a blue‑collar guy and com‑ petes for everything," Daley said. "He gets on the end of set pieces, and he scores goals in that fashion. We want to play a better brand of offense and get goals from many different players." Athlete To Watch: Built like a line‑ backer at 6‑3, 220 pounds, sophomore goalie Evan Louro went 3‑4‑1 in eight starts splitting time in net a year ago. He posted a 1.28 goals‑against average and had two shutouts. "He'll clearly be the No. 1, and he probably should have been the No. 1 last year, but we wanted to introduce him to college soccer," Daley said. "It's more than just playing in a fall sport — you have school three weeks after you start playing, and that's an adjustment period." Don't Miss: Michigan versus North‑ western Sept. 20. FIELD HOCKEY First Game: Aug. 29, versus North Carolina. Big Ten Predicted Finish: Top three. NCAA Best-Case Scenario: Final Four. Coach's Expectations: "The expecta‑ tion at Michigan is to battle not only for a Big Ten championship, but a national Sophomore goalkeeper Sam Swenson posted a 13-6-0 record, a 1.34 goals-against average and three shutouts while starting 18 of 20 games during her rookie campaign.
