Hudson Valley, N.Y., in the Tampa Bay Rays organization, was
hitting .280 with one home run and three RBI as of Aug. 17. His
.395 on base percentage and .389 slugging percentage both

The Seattle Seahawks rookie made a team-high nine tackles,
including one for loss, during the Seahawks' 22-20 loss to Denver
Aug. 14 during the opening weekend of preseason action. He
played 51 of 70 defensive snaps, forced a fumble and lined up at
several different positions on the line.

Chris Haynes at Cleveland.com reported that the Los Angeles
Clippers sixth man would be "open" to a trade from the Clippers
to the Cavs, and the team could use a trade exception on him.
Crawford recently scored 38 points and dished out 19 assists in
his summer Seattle Pro-Am game.
