MICHIGAN RECRUITING lines the non-conference showdown against Oregon State Sept. 12. The 6-5, 297-pounder is rated as the No. 48 overall prospect and No. 3 offensive guard in the land by Rivals.com. Though he's committed to USC, Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson defensive tackle Keyshon Camp plans to visit officially for the UNLV game Sept. 19. The 6-3, 274-pounder is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 24 defen- sive tackle nationally. While in Michi- gan Stadium, he may have the chance to see a former teammate, freshman defensive end Reuben Jones, take the field in the winged helmet. When Sparty comes to town, the visitors' list should be star-studded. Rivals100 prospects Isaac Nauta (the No. 1 tight end and No. 43 overall prospect nationally out of IMG Acad- emy in Bradenton, Fla.) and Lamar Jackson (a product of Franklin High School in Elk Grove, Calif., and the No. 6 safety and No. 81 overall player nationally) will headline the prospects making official visits. Miami Senior three-star receiver Keyshawn Young also plans to be at that game. The recruiting stakes are even higher for the game against Ohio State. Hy- attsville (Md.) DeMatha four-star of- fensive lineman Terrance Davis and Houston Elsik four-star linebacker Dontavious Jackson are among the big names planning to attend. Three-star Orlando (Fla.) Oak Ridge linebacker Jonathan Jones, who holds Michigan No. 1 on his list, will also visit for that game. The 6-0, 207-pounder is the No. 16 inside line- backer nationally and could end up in the class if there's still room by the time he plans to decide. The official visitors' list is still very fluid. At least two dozen other pros- pects — including five-stars Rashan Gary and Caleb Kelly — plan to take official visits to U-M, but haven't set dates. MISCELLANEOUS NOTES • While Michigan was once an af- terthought for Detroit King four-star wide receiver Donnie Corley, that may be changing. The No. 14 wideout and No. 79 overall prospect nationally vis- ited U-M twice in the week leading up to the beginning of fall camp, and plans to return to town while the Wolverines are preparing for their season. The 6-2, Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha product Terrance Davis — Rivals.com's No. 6 offensive guard and No. 122 overall recruit nationally — is among the big names already scheduled to take an official visit for the Michigan-Ohio State game Nov. 28.
