UNDER THE DOME ticket resell average is the highest preseason price for any college team in the last five years. Irish tickets also led the nation in secondary price last season at $264.28 per seat — about $70 and 45 percent less than a ticket will cost you this year — which helps to further il- lustrate the expectations and excitement going into this season. For perspective, face value price for a ticket to any of the six games this season at Notre Dame Stadium varies by oppo- nent but averages $95 for a bench seat, the lowest price offered. Texas A&M tickets rank third on the 2015 resell price list at $200.69 per seat. Tennessee is fourth at $199.46 and Ohio State rounds out the top five at $197.79 — somewhat surprising since the de- fending national cham- pions ranked second to Notre Dame in resell "value" before last season at $262.98 per ticket. When analyzing prices among all college sched- ules and teams, Irish games hold down the top two spots, and three of the top five, for highest single-game resell prices. Topping the list of the most expensive single games in all of college football is that Sham- rock Series matchup with Boston College Nov. 21, where the average resell ticket price is $919.90. The price from the sea- son-opening primetime matchup between Notre Dame and Texas Sept. 5 was the second-most expensive ticket for all schools this preseason at $829.29, and the USC visit to Notre Dame Oct. 17 ranks fifth at $590.81 per seat.
