HOMECOMING FOR C.J. PROSISE
Notre Dame's matchup against Vir-
ginia was already significant for se-
nior C.J. Prosise, who was making his
first career start at running back after
junior Tarean Folston suffered a sea-
son-ending knee injury in the opener
against Texas. To add to the emotion
of the start, Prosise was also making a
return home.
Prosise hails from Petersburg, Va.,
and went to school just 45 minutes
away from Charlottesville at the
Woodberry Forest School. His emo-
tions were high coming into the game,
but he received some advice that
helped him stay within himself.
"I've always been really excited to
come home and play here in front of
my family and friends," Prosise said
of his return to Virginia. "My parents
