GAME PREVIEW: GEORGIA TECH opens up the middle of the field for their offense. "They looked like they really weren't missing a beat, but Notre Dame is ob- viously going to be a huge jump up in terms of talent and size." Defensively, the Yellow Jackets are anchored by their line and second- ary. Sophomore end KeShun Freeman returns after earning Freshman All- American honors in 2014, and senior tackle Adam Gotsis picked up second- team All-ACC accolades in 2014. The secondary features four senior starters. "Keshun's a really talented guy; he has a chance to be one of the best sack guys at Georgia Tech by the time his career is over," Quinlan said. "He's de- veloping a lot faster than [2014 second round NFL Draft selection] Jeremiah Attaochu. Keshun's ahead of where Jeremiah was at the same age, and it will be interesting to see if he can keep the development up. "They've got talent and leadership in the secondary, although depth is an issue because there's little experi- ence behind them in the second unit. All of the backups are sophomores or freshmen." Quinlan believes the Yellow Jackets, despite talent on both sides of the ball, will have a hard time emerging from South Bend with a victory. "If it was in Atlanta, I'd say it could almost be a pick 'em," Quinlan said. "Playing at Notre Dame, I think that's an advantage in that environment. It's an interesting matchup for Georgia Tech; they've really struggled with quarterbacks who are really mobile and accurate throwers. "It will all come down to whether they can pressure Notre Dame and force some bad decisions from the quarterback, because they're going to give up chunks of yards. "Can they keep them out of the end zone, out of the big plays that they killed Texas with? Right now, I don't feel great about Tech's chances — it's just not a great matchup for them." ✦ 2015 GEORGIA TECH SCHEDULE Date Opponent (TV) Result/Time (ET) Sept. 3 Alcorn State W, 69-6 Sept. 12 Tulane W, 65-10 Sept. 19 at Notre Dame (NBC) 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at Duke TBA Oct. 3 North Carolina TBA Oct. 10 at Clemson TBA Oct. 17 Pittsburgh TBA Oct. 24 Florida State TBA Oct. 31 at Virginia TBA Nov. 12 Virginia Tech (ESPN) 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at Miami TBA Nov. 28 Georgia TBA 2015 NOTRE DAME FOOTBALL SCHEDULE Date Opponent (TV) Result/Time (ET) Sept. 5 Texas (NBC) W, 38-3 Sept. 12 at Virginia (ABC) W, 34-27 Sept. 19 Georgia Tech (NBC) 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26 Massachusetts (NBC) 3:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at Clemson (TBA) TBA Oct. 10 Navy (NBC) 3:30 p.m. Oct. 17 Southern California (NBC) 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at Temple (TBA) TBA Nov. 7 at Pittsburgh (TBA) TBA Nov. 14 Wake Forest (NBC) 3:30 p.m. Nov. 21 vs. Boston College (NBC)# 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at Stanford (TBA) TBA # Shamrock Series at Fenway Park in Boston
