Because this year's White Out game against Michigan isn't until late Novem- ber, Saturday's matchup against Rutgers may end up being the staff's biggest re- cruiting weekend of the season. As of Tuesday evening, Blue White Illus- trated had confirmed that more than a dozen of the region's top junior and soph- omore prospects will be attending. One of the key Class of 2017 players to keep an eye on is safety Damani Neal of Potomac, Md. Since May, the three-star prospect has taken three unofficial visits to Penn State, the most recent of which was in the first week of August to watch practice. He made it no secret throughout the summer that PSU was his top school, so if the staff were to add a second Class of 2017 commitment, Neal would be the most likely candidate. A few other prospects to watch are linebacker Dylan Rivers of Stephens City, Va., defensive back Lamont Wade of Clairton, Pa., and defensive tackle Fred Hansard of Prince- ton, N.J. The staff is also planning to host multiple Class of 2018 prospects, including five- star linebacker Micah Parsons of Central Dauphin High in Harrisburg, Pa. Running back Jaelen Gill of Westerville, Ohio, tight end Zack Kuntz of Camp Hill, Pa., and quarterback Artur Sitkowski of Old Bridge, N.J., are a few other sophomores who have been to Penn State previously. As for the top remaining Class of 2016 prospects, we know that the staff would prefer that they take their official visits to Penn State later in the season or January. Four-star athlete Jordan Fuller of Old Tap- pan, N.J., is considering an unofficial visit this weekend, but nothing had been con- firmed as of this writing. –RYAN SNYDER PENN STATE RADIO NETWORK WAEB............. 790-AM.......
