FOOTBALL RECRUITING BY BRYAN DRISKELL A fter this season, Notre Dame is poised to lose five safeties — Matthias Farley, Nicky Baratti, John Turner, Elijah Shumate and Avery Se- bastian. Those departures might deci- mate the Irish depth chart. Notre Dame's 2016 class needs to infuse the roster with talent, and the Irish are off to a good start with two commitments already in the fold. The Irish staff is involved with a number of talented players and a good season on the field could result in bringing in the players it needs on the back end. The following is the second of a two- part look at Notre Dame's top targets on the board, in the opinion of Blue & Gold Illustrated. TOP TARGETS BRANDON BURTON Gardena, Calif.
