ith just less than five months re‑
maining until National Singing
Day Feb. 3, Notre Dame holds com‑
mitments from 14 prospects, but is ex‑
pected to take anywhere from 23‑24
recruits in the class.
With official visit season in full
swing, some of the loose ends should
be tied up in the coming months.
Here are the four most asked ques‑
tions in regards to Irish recruiting:
WHO WILL BE THE NEXT TO COMMIT?
Notre Dame hasn't picked up a ver‑
bal since El Dorado Hills (Calif.) Oak
Ridge three‑star quarterback Ian Book
flipped from Washington State to the
Irish Aug. 4. However, at least two re‑
cruits could be added by mid‑October.
Memphis (Tenn.) Whitehaven four‑
star safety Donté Vaughn is set to decide
Oct. 12. He took an official visit to cam‑
pus for the Texas game Sept. 5 and left
with the Irish at the top of his list.
