FOOTBALL RECRUITING ROUNDUP
• Just a month and a half after taking an unofficial visit to Notre Dame, one of the Irish's top targets at
slot receiver visited Arizona State. Fontana (Calif.) Summit four-star wide receiver Damian Alloway was
in Tempe the weekend of Sept. 19 for an official visit.
The 5-10, 170-pound Alloway, who is ranked as the No. 20 recruit in California, and the No. 20 wide
receiver and No. 110 overall prospect in the nation, was at one time considered a strong Notre Dame lean,
but it looks like he wants to evaluate all of his options before making a decision.
"I wanted to focus on my senior season pretty much," Alloway told Rivals. "Right now, it's about these
guys [his team] and not about me. I will make my decision soon, and when the time comes I'll make the
best decision for me."
Alloway is also considering Wisconsin and UCLA. He'll return to South Bend for the USC game Oct. 17.
