WOMEN'S BASKETBALL pares us for the ACC season, and the conference schedule gets us ready for the NCAAs. This year's schedule fits that philosophy extremely well," said McGraw, whose next win will be her 700th at Notre Dame. "We're going to see many different styles of play during the non-conference season, and we're going to be playing in some unique en- vironments that may take us out of our comfort zone." The 16-game ACC campaign begins at home versus Georgia Tech (Dec. 30), which joins Boston College as the two repeat opponents in the league for the Irish. Notre Dame is a remarkable 31-1 in ACC regular-season play, losing only at Miami last year, and swept through the ACC Tournament both times. Perennial power Tennessee (Jan. 18) will be Notre Dame's lone non-confer- ence game in January and February, and then in February the Irish will have road games at Duke, Louisville and Florida State. Among 21 television games, Notre Dame will play at least nine times on the ESPN family of networks, starting with the Jimmy V Classic at UConn (live on ESPN) and three appearances on ES- PN's Big Monday in which they are 11-0. Despite the early defection to the WNBA by All-America guard Jewell Loyd, the Irish are projected to vie for their sixth consecutive Final Four with the return of its other four starters, soph- omore Brianna Turner and junior Taya Reimer up front, with sophomore Lind- say Allen and senior Michaela Mabrey in the backcourt. Wing Madison Cable also has returned for a fifth season. ✦ 2015-16 NOTRE DAME WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE Date Opponent (TV) Result/Time (ET) Nov. 7 Wayne State* 1 p.m. Nov. 15 Bucknell 1 p.m. Nov. 18 Toledo 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at South Dakota State 3 p.m. Nov. 23 at Valparaiso (ESPN3) 8 p.m. Nov. 27 vs. Denver^ 3:15 p.m. Nov. 28 vs. Louisiana Tech or UCLA^ 1/3:15 p.m. Dec. 2 Ohio State 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at Connecticut (ESPN) 5:15 p.m. Dec. 9 DePaul 7 p.m. Dec. 12 at TCU (FSN) 12 p.m. Dec. 21 at St. Joseph's (Pa.) 7 p.m. Dec. 28 Oregon State 7 p.m. Dec. 30 Georgia Tech 7 p.m. Jan. 3 at Pittsburgh (RSN) 3 p.m. Jan. 7 at Virginia 7 p.m. Jan. 10 North Carolina (ESPN2) 1 p.m. Jan. 14 at Boston College 7 p.m. Jan. 18 Tennessee (ESPN2) 7 p.m. Jan. 21 Syracuse (ESPN3) 7 p.m. Jan. 24 Virginia Tech 1 p.m. Jan. 28 at Georgia Tech (RSN) 7 p.m. Feb. 1 at Duke (ESPN2) 6 p.m. Feb. 4 North Carolina State (ESPN3) 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at Louisville (ESPN2) TBD Feb. 14 Miami (RSN) 1 p.m. Feb. 18 at Wake Forest 7 p.m. Feb. 22 at Florida State (ESPN2) 7 p.m. Feb. 25 Clemson 7 p.m. Feb. 27 Boston College 1 p.m. March 2-6 ACC Tournament$ TBD * Exhibition; ^ Junkanoo Jam at Freeport, Bahamas; FSN — FOX Sports Net; RSN — ACC Regional Sports Network; $ at Greensboro, N.C.
