BASKETBALL RECRUITING California and UConn. There were reports that Poole would visit Michigan Sept. 19, but he switched it to Sept. 26. Poole, listed as a shooting guard but with point guard skills, is legit, Gold‑ andBlack.com's Brian Neubert said after scouting him at least five times this summer. "I like him," he said. "He has great size. I'd give him all of 6‑3 as a high school junior, and he's not a straw physically, either. He can really shoot it, and he's a nice kid." Poole isn't in any rush to pare his list, he said following a second visit to Illinois. "I'm just taking everything in right now," Poole said. "I'm not trimming anything down yet. I've been to Drake and Illinois as of now. Coming up we have Nebraska, Creighton, Michigan, Indiana, Xavier and Missouri. We're trying to get those visits finalized." Though he likes the Illini, Michigan has also made a great early impression. "I love Michigan," he said. "They're also in the Big Ten so it's not that far away from home. I especially like how they've been developing players to go to the League these past couple of years." Here's a look at some of the other targets joining Poole on Michigan's unofficial 2017 Hot Board: JAREN JACKSON, PF Indianapolis Park Tudor Rivals.com's No. 61 junior nationally The self-reported 6-9, 214-pounder holds offers from Indiana, Michigan State, Purdue, Illinois, Georgetown and others, but Michigan is one of his favorites. As- sistant coach Jeff Meyer visited the four- star's school the week of Sept. 9, and Jackson visited U-M over the summer and deemed himself a great fit. He averaged 10 points, seven rebounds and five blocked shots for Park Tudor a year ago, and the team's head coach Kyle Cox said he expects him to play an even bigger role in 2015-16. Jackson was scheduled to visit Notre Dame the weekend of Sept. 19. Butler, Indiana, Michigan and Michigan State trips are likely this fall. "I hear a lot from Michigan State, Stanford and Michigan. I get letters from Indiana all the time," he said. "I talk to [Purdue] Coach [Matt] Painter all the time. I'm talking to Butler. I've also heard from UCLA a lot." GREG FLOYD, SF 6-7, 175, Las Vegas Desert Pines Rivals.com's No. 101 junior nationally "Currently an unranked three-star small forward in the class of 2017, Greg Floyd will make a debut in the 2017 Rivals150 in the near future," Rivals. com's Eric Bossi re - ported recently. "He is a thin athlete with a good-looking shot and deep range, who has turned the heads of many college coaches." Soon, Floyd will be hitting the visit trail. His summer coach, Lamar Bigby of the Las Vegas Knicks, told Rivals.com that
