cess of the rushing attack. The Irish have a line that now has 88 career starts, and it has been able to de- velop far greater cohesion than it did a season ago when Notre Dame was forced to reshuffle the group after three games. No player has stood out thus far, but as a group the line has excelled. "We are playing pretty consistent," fifth-year senior center Nick Martin noted. "It's better to go five-for-five than to have one guy dominating. When you have all five doing well you're going to play well." MISCELLANEOUS NOTES • Notre Dame's 35 first-half points were the most since Oct. 29, 2011, when the Irish led Navy 35-7 at the break. • The 95-yard scoring drive for a touchdown in the second quarter was Notre Dame's second 95-yard touchdown drive of the season (the first came against Texas). • Notre Dame now has 10 scoring drives of at least 75 yards on the season. • ESPN's College GameDay announced that it will broadcast from Clemson, S.C., prior to the Irish and Tigers squaring off as fellow unbeatens on Oct. 3. Freshman running back Josh Adams set a career high with 133 yards on the ground, highlighted by a 70-yard scoring run. PHOTO BY BILL PANZICA
