PSU Penn State leads the all-time series, 13-10-2. MOST RECENT MEETING Matt Suhey rushed for 225 yards on 23 carries to lift the Nittany Lions past visiting Army, 24-3, on Oct. 13, 1979. GOOD NEWS Against Eastern Michigan last Saturday, Army brought an em- phatic end to a four-game losing streak that began last December. The Black Knights amassed 654 yards of total offense, the most in school history against a current Football Bowl Subdivision mem- ber, in a 58-36 victory. BAD NEWS Their victory at Eastern Michigan notwithstanding, the Black Knights have not been very suc- cessful on the road in recent years. Before their win in Ypsilanti last weekend, they had dropped 21 consecutive road games. DID YOU KNOW? Army's most recent victory against Penn State was an 11-0 shutout on Oct. 1, 1966. Playing only their third game under new head coach Joe Paterno, the visit- ing Lions lost four fumbles and threw three interceptions in the cold, wet field conditions. It was their 10th loss in 16 games against Army, but their fortunes would improve under Paterno, as they went on to win the next nine games in the series. T I M   O W E N | O W E N . T I M . As Penn State head coach James Franklin was ad- dressing the status of his notable players who went down during Saturday's game against San Diego State, Army head coach Jeff Monken was doing the same at his press conference Tuesday a@ernoon in the Nowak Auditorium in West Point, N.Y. For the record, PSU safeties Marcus Allen and Jordan Lucas are expected back for Sat- urday's game vs. the Black Knights. The re- turn of running backs Akeel Lynch, Saquon Barkley and defensive end Evan Schwan – all of whom left the San Diego State game early – is less certain. "From everything I know this morning, none of them are season-ending injuries," Franklin said. The Nittany Lions "anticipate getting them all back," he added, "whether it's this week or next week. We'll see." Monken, who is in his second season at Army a@er a 4-8 finish in 2014, was similarly non- committal about his team's injuries, specifi-
