senior run-
ning back C.J. PROSISE, highlighted
by a 56-yard touchdown, in the
24-22 loss at Clemson Oct. 3.
That total on only four
catches was the most by
an Irish running back in a
game since Larry Parker
snared seven for 174
yards in the 38-28 loss at
USC on Nov. 28, 1970. That
was the game quarterback
Joe Theismann passed for
a single-game Irish-record
526 yards. It also is the first
time an Irish player has had
a 100-yard rushing game
and a 100-yard receiving
game in the same season since
Raghib "Rocket" Ismail in 1990.
