A tremendous de- fensive effort, led by line- man Stephon Tuitt, gave the Fighting Irish a 14-10 con- quest in 2013, preventing a sixth straight defeat at home to the Trojans. Overall, USC is 14-24-1 in Notre Dame Stadium. Until winning five in a row there from 2003-11, it hadn't won more than two straight on the Fighting Irish sod.
