Sophomore JuJu Smith‑Schuster
headlines the receiving corps, and his
33 catches, 619 receiving yards and six
touchdown grabs through the first five

as the No. 2 wide receiver in the 2018
NFL Draft class.
"He's incredible, he's one of the best
receivers in the country," Swanson said.
"There were flashes of it last year, but
obviously [2015 first‑round NFL Draft
pick] Nelson Agholor was on the other
side, so he wasn't going to get that many
catches when Nelson is there.
"This year he's become that No. 1
guy. He's really physical, you can throw
the screen to him and he's going to get
seven yards because he's knocking guys
into the ground. He's also explosive, he
can run down the field and get it. He's
just an all‑around quality receiver and
they have several great guys around
him, too."
The offensive line play has been solid,
but not spectacular in the first five
games of 2015. And now, senior center
Max Tuerk — a consensus first‑team
All‑Pac‑12 honoree in 2014 — is ques‑
tionable for the Notre Dame game after
suffering a right knee injury in the loss
to Washington.
