O T H E R M A T C H U P S THE LOWDOWNThis is one area in which Maryland has a substantial advantage. Thanks to Likely, the Terps lead the Big Ten in punt returns with a 22.6-yard average and two touchdowns. In addition, senior Brad Craddock is one of the conference's best place-kickers, having made 5 of 6 attempts this year, his longest being 41 yards. Freshman P Nicholas Prichard is averaging 39.8 yards per punt. Penn State has big problems with its punting game. Daniel Pasquariello is averaging 39.9 yards, while fellow sophomore Chris Gulla is averaging 38.3. Both had terrible nights against Ohio State. // EDGEMaryland SPECIAL TEAMS THE LOWDOWNPenn State owns a 35-2-1 edge in this series, but last year at Beaver Stadium, the Terrapins rallied to defeat the Nittany Lions, 20-19, winning for the first time in this lopsided series since 1961. Penn State will be looking to avenge that loss on Saturday, and it will have a bit of extra motivation in that last year, Maryland players refused to shake the hands of their Nittany Lion counterparts prior to the coin flip. It was a bizarre scene, and one that certainly hasn't been forgotten. // EDGEPenn State THIS 'N' THAT THE LOWDOWN With Randy Edsall having recently been fired and offensive coordinator Mike Locksley now in charge as interim head coach, no one knows what to expect from the Terrapins on Saturday. At Penn State, James Franklin and his staff will be looking to get their team refocused after losing to Ohio State. // EDGEPenn State COACHING STAFF O C T O B E R 2 1 , 2 0 1 5 B L U E W H I T E O N L I N E . C O M 5 4, a significant improvement over Rowe's numbers. Senior Levern Jacobs is the Terrapins' leading receiver with 22 catches for 222 yards, while freshman D.J. Moore is second with 11 catches for 193 yards. Freshman TE Avery Ed- wards and junior WR Amba Etta-Tawo have 10 catches apiece for a combined 200 yards and two touchdowns. Penn State senior SS Jordan Lucas and sophomore FS Marcus Allen are the team's second- and fourth- leading tacklers, respectively. Lucas has 42 total tackles, while Allen has 38. Sophomore Grant Haley is Penn State's top cover cornerback with one interception, three passes defended and two pass break-ups. Freshman CB John Reid leads Penn State with two interceptions. The big disappointment here is that the Nittany Lions have only four in- terceptions as a team. // KEY MATCHUP Maryland RT Damien Prince, a 6-foot-3, 325-pound redshirt freshman, will be going up against Nassib, who leads the Football Bowl Subdivision with 11.5 sacks. Also, Haley will be chal- lenged by Jacobs. // EDGEPenn State
