Just a year removed from being
a talented freshman that was asked
to contribute, Flaherty welcome the
young talent to the team.
"They are great," Flaherty said.
"They come into practice with so
much energy. They work really hard
and don't really act like freshmen.
Even if they don't know a drill,
they'll go really hard at it.
"I think that's a breath of fresh air,
Fourth-year mentor Kim Barnes Arico, with junior guard Siera Thompson, is the only coach in
program history to post three 20-win seasons, but the Wolverines may need to play a different
style this year after losing its starting post players to graduation.
