2015-16 WOLFPACK BASKETBALL PREVIEW ■ Caleb Martin 14 • G/F So. • Mocksville, N.C. • 6-7 • 215 Analysis: Martin is one of the leading candidates to pick up the production lost on the perimeter by the departures of Trevor Lacey and Ralston Turner. To do so, he has worked to become a more reliable shooter. He is capable of making three-pointers, having drained 25 last year, but needs to shoot at a higher percentage (30.5 percent on threes and 35.6 percent overall). He has added 15 pounds of muscle during the offseason. Career Highlights: Consistently used as a reserve during his rookie campaign and named the ACC Freshman of the Week on Dec. 15 … In his one career start, scored a career-high 17 points against Charleston Southern in Reynolds Coliseum … Had a personal-best 10 rebounds in the win at Louisville … Rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 60 overall player in the 2014 class by Rivals.com … Played as a senior at national high school power Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., helping the team to a 41-4 record and runner-up finish in the Dick's Sporting Goods High School National Tournament, where he was named all-tournament … Played previously at Davie County High in Mocksville, N.C., and also participated in football as a freshman.
