W
ith only two exhibition games in
the books, it's too early to fully
judge the outlook of head coach Mike
Brey's hoops squad this year. One
certainty, though, is this team's iden-
tity will be vastly different from last
year's.
The 2014-15 squad utilized unique
spacing, starting four players listed at
6-5 or less that could play on the pe-
rimeter, alongside one true big in 6-10
forward Zach Auguste. That lineup
and a ball-sharing mentality helped
Notre Dame regularly find natural
shooters open for quality shots.
This year's team has started two post
players thus far in sophomore forward
Bonzie Colson and the senior Auguste,
along with junior point guard Deme-
trius Jackson, junior shooting guard
Irish Work On Establishing
New Lineup
The insertion of sophomore forward Bonzie Colson into the starting lineup is expected to give the Irish an
early boost on the boards and in the halfcourt.
