He piled up 133 tackles, in- cluding a staggering 60 for loss and 25 sacks. He also had an interception and one pass broken up, plus seven touchdowns on offense for 8-4 John Carroll, which lost in the second round of the 3-A state playoffs. Miller was offered by Miami in the fall and indicated to Rivals.com that he may take an official visit there in January. • The Pack's most recent verbal commit- ment, three-star wide receiver C.J. Riley, caught 40 passes for 1,047 yards and 13 touchdowns for Coconut Creek (Fla.) North Broward Prep this season, helping it finish 6-4. In two seasons for North Broward, Riley caught 75 passes for 1,726 yards and 24 scores. • Offensive lineman Joe Sculthorpe, a three-star prospect according to Rivals.com, and Hampstead (N.C.) Topsail High went 5-7 and lost in first round of the 3-A state playoffs to Wilson (N.C.) Fike High. Sculthorpe, who will also compete in the Shrine Bowl, played both sides of the ball. Lining up at left tackle on offense, he helped Topsail average 211.1 rushing yards and 271.6 total yards per game. De- fensively, he recorded 46 tackles, including five for loss. Sculthorpe will wrestle this winter. He won the state heavyweight title as a sopho- more and was runner-up as a junior.
