MICHIGAN IN THE PROS BY CHRIS BALAS F ormer Michigan linebacker/end LaMarr Woodley's season ended Nov. 26 when the Arizona Cardi- nals put the 31-year-old on injured reserve. Woodley tore his pectoral muscle in a 34-31 win over the Cin- cinnati Bengals Nov. 22. Woodley played in 10 games this season for Arizona, starting seven while compiling 10 tackles and one sack. He played only six games in Oakland last year due to injury and has not played all 16 regular-season games since 2010, when he had 50 tackles and 10 sacks for the Pitts- burgh Steelers. "LaMarr, I thought, was getting better and better each week playing in our system, learning the scheme," Arizona defensive coordinator James Bettcher told ESPN.com. "It's unfor- tunate with him. We certainly wish him the best as he goes and has that injury taken care of." Woodley has 314 tackles, including 58 sacks, in his nine-year career.
