Freshman running back
Saquon Barkley finds a big
opening on his first carry in
Penn State's home finale
against Michigan. Barkley
gained 56 yards before
being brought down at the
9-yard line, but Penn State
was unable to punch it in,
settling for a field goal. The
red zone difficulties con-
tinued, and Penn State fell
to the Wolverines, 28-16.
The Lions wrapped up their
regular season a week later
with a loss to Michigan
State, but Barkley was one
of the bright spots in 2015.
Heading into the postsea-
son, he has 1,007 rushing
yards on 165 carries (6.1
yards per attempt) and
ranks fourth in the Big Ten
in yards per game (100.7).
