brother of former Mountaineers (and cur- rent Chicago Bears) wide receiver Kevin White, as well as current West Virginia sophomore Ka'Raun White, so he has a number of ties to coach Dana Holgorsen's program. However, that hasn't slowed down Penn State's pursuit, as both Terry Smith and Ricky Rahne have continued to make a major push for the junior college prospect. White was expected to take an o8cial visit to Penn State Jan. 22-24, followed by one 6nal o8cial visit to West Virginia Jan. 29-31. Unlike most junior college prospects, he won't be enrolling in January, so his recruitment could drag into the spring. However, we expect him to make a 6nal decision sometime in the next month. As of this writing, it appeared he would rea8rm his original commitment to West Virginia, but his o8cial visit to Penn State could complicate his decision. He had only been to Penn State a few times prior to that trip and had yet to meet most of the current players and re- cruits, the majority of whom were expected to be on campus that weekend. JORDAN FULLER POS Saf. HT 6-2 WT 190 HOME Old Tappan, N.J. SCHOOL Old Tappan SCHOOLS Penn State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Rutgers UPDATE Like Hamlin, Fuller hasn't spo- ken much with the media since the sum- mer, so it's been di8cult to get a feel for which way he's leaning. What is known is that he took o8cial visits to Notre Dame Dec. 12-14, Ohio State Jan. 15-17 and Michigan Jan. 22-24. As of mid-Jan- uary, he was still discussing a date to visit Penn State; it appeared likely that he would return to University Park sometime during the 6nal week of the cycle, Jan. 25-31. Most reporters have speculated that Fuller is leaning toward Ohio State, but it's im- portant to emphasize that he has kept the details of his recruitment quiet. We do know that he was completely focused on his senior season these past few months. He only took one uno8cial visit – to Rutgers – during the season, so these 6nal o8cial visits will likely prove to be very important. It's still unclear when Fuller plans to make a decision, but it will likely be close to signing day. KHALEKE HUDSON POS Ath. HT 5-11 WT 204 HOME McKeesport, Pa. SCHOOL McKeesport SCHOOLS Penn State, Michigan, Pitt, UCLA UPDATE Hudson hinted last summer that he was interested in making a com- mitment to Penn State, but the coaches had other positions of need at the time and were focused on di7erent prospects. However, Terry Smith kept in touch with Hudson during his senior season, and the McKeesport athlete is now back in play. He took an o8cial visit to UCLA in early December before the dead period, and while that trip went well, it would be sur- prising if he were to go that far away from home. We believe his o8cial visits to Michigan (Jan. 15-17), Penn State (Jan. 22- 24) and Pitt (Jan. 29-31) will likely prove to be critical. Most believe Hudson will stay in Penn- sylvania, but Michigan has made a major push in recent weeks, so the trip to Ann Arbor could have a signi6cant impact on where he ends up. But as of mid-January, Penn State appeared to be a slight favorite. A commitment isn't expected until he wraps up his o8cial visits, so it will likely come around signing day. ■
