CHARLOTTESVILLE LUNCH SOCIAL FALL 2015
VAF members, student-athlete alumni and fans had the special opportunity to join the three 2014-
2015 UVA National Championship team coaches for lunch on November 18 at John Paul Jones
Arena. Head coaches Brian Boland (men's tennis), George Gelnovatch (men's soccer) and Brian
O'Connor (baseball) mingled with the crowd to thank everyone for their support during an exciting
year for their programs. The social included an update on Virginia athletics by Dirk Katstra, VAF
executive director, and an
entertaining Q&A panel
with the coaches mod-
erated by Dave Koehn,
Voice of the Cavaliers.
The coaches reminisced
about their paths to suc-
cess and shared expecta-
tions for the future. Fol-
lowing the event, guests
had a unique chance to
take pictures with the
coaches and their cham-
pionship trophies. Thank
you to everyone who
joined us for lunch to cel-
ebrate the incredible ac-
complishments of these
coaches and their teams.
