2.20 ERA. The intriguing thing about Haseley is that he would be the first two-way outfielder that pitches for Virginia in a weekend roll. However, Kuhn said Haseley is definitely in the mix. "We've had our unbelievable lineup of two- way players," Kuhn noted. "Adam's going to be right up there with them when it's all said and done, especially with his performance in Omaha last year. But we haven't really had a guy that played the outfield start. We've had first basemen, corner guys pitch for us, designated hitter, but not really an outfielder that played every day and was also going to start. "So that's going to be interesting. How we're going to manage that. How he manages that. How we get him in the lineup. How we get him off his feet. But he's definitely going to be looked at as one of the guys that can hopefully give us a quality start." Casey went 4-1 with a 3.06 ERA in six starts and four relief appearances before being sidelined by an arm injury that required surgery last year. "He's progressing really well," Kuhn said. "He's about eight months out post-operation. He's throwing. He's really, really strong. He looks really good and we are hopeful he may be able to do what Artie [Lewicki] did for us in '14. "We're not going to push it because he's a very talented young man and we're not going to put any part of his future career in jeopardy for the sake of recovering quicker in this season. He would have probably gotten the ball in Omaha." Like Casey, Doyle is recovering from be- ing sidelined and could really be a big sur- prise for Virginia. The stuff is there for the 6-6, Second-year Adam Haseley pitched in 11 games (five starts) — all after April 1, during UVA's title march — and notched a 2-1 mark and 2.20 ERA during that period.
