ing into the spring appears to be
Grand Prairie (Texas) South five-
star Jeffrey Okudah — Rivals' No. 1
safety in the country — who has
been in contact with Irish defensive
backs coach Todd Lyght. Behind
him it's Detroit Cass Tech three-star
safety Jaylen Kelly-Powell, who is
a 4.0 student that has visited Notre
Dame twice since last summer. ✦
