Kelly has them rolling."
BGI: Are there any pickups in this class
that you think can contribute from day one
at Notre Dame?
Farrell: "You look at the guys at the
positions that generally translate to in-
stant success, so I think wide receiver,
either Kevin Stepherson or Javon
McKinley because both of those guys
could play the slot.
"If he's healthy, [linebacker] Daelin
Hayes has a chance to play. [Defensive
end] Khalid Kareem is a guy I think is
physically ready to jump in there, too,
as an edge-rush guy."
Wiltfong: "I think they'd like to see
[athlete] Devin Studstill and Kevin
Stepherson contribute early. Perhaps
[defensive back] Troy Pride. [Offensive
lineman] Tommy Kraemer or [offen-
sive lineman] Liam Eichenberg will
have a shot to maybe compete at right
tackle, depending on what they do
with Mike McGlinchey.
"Javon McKinley could see the rota-
tion, and Khalid Kareem is physically
ready."
