NEWS & NOTES
For Nick Scott, playing different posi-
tions is nothing new.
As an All-State athlete at Fairfax (Va.)
High, he played outside linebacker, free
safety, quarterback, running back and
wide receiver, rushing for more than
1,500 yards as a senior and throwing for
another 500-plus.
Now, it's Penn State that is
looking to capitalize on his
versatility.
Signed as a three-star
prospect in the Class of
2014, Scott redshirted and
played his first season of eli-
gibility for PSU at running
back, gaining 133 yards on 30 carries and
scoring a touchdown last fall. He was
also a special teams standout, tallying
eight tackles in 13 games.
