HE DID
A=er missing two games in early October
with a minor injury to his heel, Sanders returned to the
Woodland Hills lineup Oct. 16 and didn't miss a step. He :n-
ished the regular season with 1,238 yards on 96 carries, and
his average of 12.9 yards per carry as a senior was the highest
in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League.
WHAT HE WON Rivals.com named Sanders the No. 1 all-pur-
pose running back in the country. Given four stars, he was rat-
ed No. 39 overall in the Class of 2016 and the No. 1 prospect in
Pennsylvania. He played in the Under Armour All-America
Game in January, and while his numbers were modest – nine
touches for 35 yards – he turned in one of the 10 best perform-
ances in practice leading up to the game, according to Rivals.
WHERE HE VISITED Nearly every school in the nation made
a play for Sanders, and he seriously considered several of
