no brace. The look in his eye is a lot dif-
ferent his year. He's got a lot more con-
fidence and he's still going to get better
and stronger."
The team, too, appears to be on an up-
ward trajectory. The Lions have continued
to win even though Nevills didn't return
to action until a dual meet against Lehigh
on Feb. 12, and even though they have
been going back and forth at two other
weight classes and also have concerns at
141 pounds with Gulibon still working to
regain full strength in his ankle.
Forced to tinker with his lineup in almost
every dual meet due to injuries or other
circumstances, Sanderson has seen his
recruiting strategy put to the test. It's a
strategy that he began installing when he
arrived at Penn State six years ago and is
now in full e+ect.
So far, it appears as though Sanderson
and the Nittany Lions are passing that
test with *ying colors. The home-bred
wrestlers that they've brought in to provide
depth behind national recruits such as
Nico Megaludis, Zain Retherford, Jason
Nolf, Bo Nickal and Morgan McIntosh
