2016 FOOTBALL RECRUITING ISSUE MEASURABLES • Runs a 4.69 40-yard dash. • Has a 33.3-inch vertical jump. STATISTICS • During his senior campaign, re- corded 23 receptions for 344 yards (15.0 yards per carry) and three touch- downs. • In 2014 as a junior, had 26 catches for 408 yards (15.7 yards per catch) and four touchdowns. • American Heritage won back-to- back state 5A titles in 2013 and 2014, and reached the round of 16 last sea- son. HONORS • Named an Associated Press 5A All- State honorable mention selection as a senior. • Was a second-team pick at tight end on the Sun Sentinel All-Broward County 5A-4A-3A-2A team as a junior. All-Star Games And Camps • Took part in Nike's The Opening Regional, held in Miami, in 2015. RECRUITMENT • Committed to Michigan on Jan. 28, 2016, during his official visit. Took an official visit to Alabama on Jan. 15. • Picked U-M over offers from Ala- bama, Florida, Auburn, Miami (Fla.), LSU and Georgia, among others. • Recruited by tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh and passing game coordi- nator/quarterbacks and wide receiv- ers coach Jedd Fisch. NOTABLE • Born on Nov. 21, 1996. 2016 PROJECTION • Eubanks looks and plays a lot like former Wolverine Devin Funchess, splitting out wide often for American Heritage High School. His blocking is unrefined and needs significant work. He could probably benefit from a redshirt season, but with a 6-6 frame, Eubanks could prove too enticing to keep off the field in 2016. Michigan has three strong returning tight ends in senior Jake Butt, redshirt junior Khalid Hill and redshirt sopho- more Ian Bunting, but it looks like at least one of its three freshmen — Sean McKeon and Devin Asiasi are the oth- ers — will play some snaps next sea- son. McKeon has the head start by enrolling early, but the others might have more physical skill.
