Recruiter of record: Defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Dave Huxtable. Dave Doeren on Gee: "He's a legacy. He was one of the best kids we had in camp as a sophomore when I offered him." Scouting report: Technically and fundamentally sound lineman who moves well and has good strength … Because of his size, he projects as a center or perhaps guard in college … Will need to continue adding size to his frame. 2016 projection: Gee is a good bet to redshirt while he continues to gain weight and learns how to play exclusively on the interior of the line after playing mostly tackle in high school. Recruiter of record: Cornerbacks coach George Barlow. Dave Doeren on Givens: "He's a tall corner, will need to gain some weight but can run. He has long arms and really good ball skills." Scouting report: A good athlete with the length at corner that col - leges crave … … Will need to build up his slight frame. 2016 projection: NC State lost starter Juston Burris to graduation, and both Malcolm Means and Troy Vincent left school before the bowl game. Rising senior Jack Tocho and rising junior Mike Stevens are back as likely starters, but depth behind them is thin, and thus there is an opening for Givens to potentially play early. Kelvin Harmon WIDE RECEIVER Palmyra (N.J.) High • 6-3, 196 pounds Stats: As a senior, caught 66 passes for 1,111 yards and 14 touchdowns … Added 38 tackles, a pair of sacks, an interception, two passes broken up, three fumble re- coveries and a forced fumble on defense, and had two punt returns for touchdowns … As a junior, hauled in 53 receptions for 803 yards and 14 scores. Recruiter of record: Wide receivers coach George McDonald. Dave Doeren on Harmon: "He has great upside and is really developed physi- cally. He's a good hurdler and high jumper at his high school right now." Scouting report: Polished receiver prospect … Impressive size and strength for a wideout, with strong hands … Not a blazer, but possesses good speed and athleticism. 2016 projection: Harmon has a lot of traits that go-to receivers possess — notably the ability to get open and sure hands. Given his size and frame, he may be able to handle the physicality of college football better than most true freshmen. Thus it would not be surprising if Harmon is contributing next season for NC State.
