longer, delving into the depths of the
Sierra Nevadas or sometimes the Rockies.
It's how some of Morgan's earliest child-
hood memories were created.
"We've always done a lot of outdoors
stu;," Brooke said. "For his whole life,
we were packers. In the East you probably
aren't that familiar with it, but you load
all your [belongings] on horses and mules
and you go back and spend a nice, fairly
comfortable weeklong trip in the wilder-
ness. We did that the whole time he was
growing up."
As he's grown older, his venturous soul
remains. Morgan still spends as much
time as he can in the outdoors. He doesn't
pack in the traditional sense, with horses
and mules, as o
