COMMITMENT PROFILE Springfield (Ohio) High inside linebacker Antwuan Johnson visited Michigan in mid-March and really enjoyed his time in Ann Arbor. The 6-1, 210-pounder initially said that he was too young for a commitment and would like to take his time, but just a week later he was a Wolverine and the first member of the 2018 class. "What changed?" Johnson asked himself with a laugh. "I took a week and really thought hard about it. I had a heart to heart with my mother and my father, and my whole family really, and we all agreed that it was the right move. "We all think that Coach [Jim] Har- baugh is building a great program, and everyone saw it as a great fit for me. I'm a pretty focused kid, and I know what I want." The bond that Johnson formed with the coaches while on his visit ultimately led him to his decision. He felt everything he needed to feel and was comfortable enough to pull the trigger. "When I went up for my visit I got a lot of love," Johnson said. "Every- one at Michigan really made me feel like I was at home. After I talked it over with my family and friends, I just made my decision. I truly feel like it was the best decision for me." After making his decision with his family, Johnson spoke with his future head coach and felt even better about his decision to commit to Michigan.
