PREP PROFILES At 6‑6 and 315 pounds, Graham (Wash.) Graham‑Kapowsin offensive tackle Foster Sarrell is a massive left tackle prospect that seems to effort‑ lessly open up huge holes in the run‑ ning game. D e s p i t e h i s hulking size and frame, he also has great feet and ex‑ cels in pass pro‑ tection. He moves very well, and looks most com‑ fortable in run blocking where he can control his side of the line of scrimmage and help out his running backs. That combination of size, athleticism and skill have earned him a four‑star rating, and offers from schools such as Alabama, Michigan, Nebraska, Ore‑ gon, Stanford, UCLA, USC and Wash‑ ington. The No. 6 offensive tackle and No. 26 overall prospect in the country is intrigued by several programs, but seems to be more attached to the in‑ state Huskies. He's not ready to single them out officially, but it's clear the in‑ state program is making him a priority. "I'm just enjoying high school right now," Sarell said. "I like all of the schools. I'm not going to narrow it down or anything yet. "I've had the most contact with Washington, Michigan, Oregon, USC, Cal, Nebraska and Stanford." The Wolverines are a long way from Graham, Wash., but their coaches are still putting effort in with Sarrell. So far, it's been a dual approach from Team Harbaugh. "I'm still communicating with Mich‑ igan; just keeping in touch with the coaches," Sarrell said. "I talk with Coach Jim [Har‑ baugh] and Jay [Harbaugh]. I'm bonding well with those guys." W a s h i n g t o n sure seems like the favorite in Sarrell's recruitment but Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon and Stanford are definitely pursuing Wash‑ ington's top player aggressively. Sarrell hasn't released an official top group so he's technically still open to every program that has offered him, but the early indication is that he'll stay closer to home. Michigan might get a chance to change his mind if desired travel plans come to fruition. "I plan on visiting Michigan in the spring or summer," Sarell said. "I re‑ ally do think Michigan will be in it for me until I decide." The Maize and Blue will be in it, but will have to overtake the Huskies. If a trip to Ann Arbor materializes any‑ thing is possible, especially with Har‑ baugh's tactics and momentum on the recruiting trail. — Brandon Brown U-M Targets Offensive Lineman From The Pacific Northwest ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ Graham-Kapowsin Graham, Wash.
