"As we explored it further, we wanted to promote heal- ing and prevention of a recurrence of this injury so we proceeded with sur- gery using enhancements that will yield success for years to come. "U-M has provided me the chance to live my dream of playing college basketball and to earn a Michigan degree. "There are really no words to ex- press my gratitude for that as well as my love for all my teammates. I am so blessed to be part of this wonder- ful university and will forever repre- sent the Maize and Blue." ❏ BASKETBALL REWIND: NCAA TOURNAMENT Final Record: 23-13 (10-8 Big Ten) NCAA Tournament Record: 1-1 Best Win — 67-62 over Tulsa (NCAA First Four game), March 16: The Wol- verines made their way down to Dayton, Ohio, for their first NCAA Tournament action since the spring of 2014 and survived a nerve-testing tussle with Tulsa.
