Rowan did the same thing last year before picking the Wolfpack. Rowan also happens to be a former travel- ing teammate of Johnson, who played for Ohio Basketball Club. Johnson, who has switched this spring to King James traveling team, is known for this explosive athleticism. Johnson has yet to take an official visit to NC State, but hopes to do so in the future. He averaged 31.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game for East Tech High. Johnson averaged 16.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game for King James after the first two legs of Nike Elite Youth Basketball League.
