FOOTBALL RECRUITING ROUNDUP
"Notre Dame is moving up my list, but they actually are already in my top group because they are
great at everything."
The 6-0, 180-pound Kelly-Powell, who is listed as the No. 24 safety in the country, is also considering
Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Oregon. He isn't sure when he plans to get back on campus, but
a third trip is likely.
• Notre Dame remains in contact with one of the nation's top defensive backs. Lawrenceville (Ga.)
Grayson four-star cornerback Jamyest Williams told Blue & Gold Illustrated in early May that he con-
tinues to talk with tight ends coach Scott Booker after visiting for a Junior Day in May and hasn't ruled
out taking an official visit to South Bend.
"I haven't eliminated Notre Dame or anything like that," Williams said. "It's a really nice community
there, and it feels like home a bit."
Williams is also considering Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, UCLA and Ohio State, among others. The
5-9, 172-pound cornerback is ranked by Rivals as the nation's No. 11 athlete and the No. 122 overall
prospect.
