UNDER THE DOME Former Irish running back Greg Bry- ant died May 8 after sustaining a gun- shot wound to the head the day before while in his native Delray Beach, Fla. A gunman — who had yet to be identified by police through mid-May — shot Bryant, who was sitting in the driver's seat of a car on Interstate 95, and the passenger, who sustained minor injuries but survived. Authori- ties found the car stopped around 4:45 a.m. Bryant was taken to a local hospital, but was declared brain dead the fol- lowing day. His family donated Bry- ant's organs for medical purposes. "We are literally devastated by this loss," Bryant's uncle, Allen Mosley, told The Sun Sentinel. "It's not easy.
