inebackers coach and defensive coordinator Dave Huxtable
feels good about his starters, and he has confidence in his
first line of likely backups. He expects, and needs, them to
produce because of a lack of depth at the position.
Two familiar faces are leading contenders to start: redshirt
junior Jerod Fernandez and junior Airius Moore. They have been
fixtures at the position for the past two seasons. Huxtable is hop-
ing to see their best this fall.
